Dosage & Directions for Use

This medicine should be taken as directed by a healthcare professional. The following is a general guide:

Adults and elderly: 10ml to 15ml daily in divided doses
Children (over 1 year): 5ml once or twice daily depending on age and severity
Pregnant women: As advised by a doctor, typically 10ml once or twice a day

Use the measuring spoon or oral syringe provided. Take with or after food to reduce the chance of stomach upset. However, for better absorption, avoid taking with tea, milk, or antacids.

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Ferrous Fumarate Syrup may cause side effects, although not everyone gets them:

Common: Dark stools, constipation, diarrhoea, nausea, stomach discomfort
